Suvendu Adhikari addresses textile industry conference in Kolkata

Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari attended a textile industry conference at the Milan Mela complex on Thursday. During the event, he urged industrialists to invest in West Bengal, promising that the state would no longer tolerate intimidation and would focus on industrial development. He noted that companies like Lux Cozi are expanding their operations and that Amul plans to establish new manufacturing facilities for dairy products in both North and South Bengal.

Adhikari criticised the previous thirty-four years of Left Front rule and the subsequent fifteen years of Trinamool Congress governance, claiming the state had regressed over the past five decades. He stated that the state must now move forward by leveraging opportunities during the current period, which he referred to as Amrit Kaal. Additionally, he mentioned that Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has offered support for the state's industrial growth.
