SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket stage impacts the Moon

A four-tonne piece of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, which had been drifting in space for eighteen months, has crashed into the Moon. The impact occurred at the Einstein crater at a speed of approximately 8,690 kilometres per hour. While the event has raised concerns among experts regarding space debris, NASA has confirmed that the collision poses no threat to Earth. Lunar satellites are currently positioned to document the site and examine the resulting debris.

Panama-flagged cargo ship MV Ocean Winner sinks off Odisha coast

A Panama-flagged cargo ship named MV Ocean Winner sank approximately 240 nautical miles off the coast of Paradip, Odisha, while en route to Singapore. The vessel, which was carrying 1,700 tons of iron ore, lost contact with its operator, Victory Star Group Co Ltd, on Saturday morning. The Indian Coast Guard and the Indian Navy have initiated a search and rescue operation for the 24 crew members on board, most of whom are Chinese nationals.

Gangster Goldy Brar claims responsibility for the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar

A leaked audio recording has emerged in which gangster Goldy Brar claims responsibility for the 2023 killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. Nijjar was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in British Columbia. In the audio, Brar alleges that he targeted Nijjar because individuals involved in the death of his brother had been residing at Nijjar's property. Brar further claims that he refrained from attacking inside a religious site out of respect for the location.
