Two accused in Renukaswamy murder case seek to turn approvers

Two accused persons in the Renukaswamy murder case have formally approached the 59th CCH court in Bengaluru to request approver status. Pradosh Rao, identified as the 14th accused, filed an application detailing his alleged role and the involvement of other individuals in the crime. During a hearing on Thursday, the 10th accused, Vinay, also submitted a similar request under Section 307 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The presiding judge has reserved orders and set August 10 for the next hearing to finalize the decision on these applications.

This development follows a period of ongoing judicial proceedings involving several high-profile figures, including actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and Pavithra Gowda. The accused are currently held in judicial custody at Parappana Agrahara Central Prison after previous bail orders were set aside.
