ADR Report Shows Regional Political Party Donations Tripled in 2024-25

A report by the Association for Democratic Reforms released in New Delhi indicates that declared donations exceeding 20,000 rupees received by regional political parties in India increased more than three-fold during the 2024-25 financial year. Total donations rose to 1,051.56 crore rupees from 347.69 crore rupees in the previous year. The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam emerged as the highest recipient of these funds, followed by the All India Trinamool Congress.
