Amit Shah offers parliamentary debate on student protests as Opposition demands resignation

Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi declined the proposal, characterizing it as a late attempt to manage the government's image. He stated that the Opposition is not interested in hearing a lecture from the Home Minister and reiterated demands for accountability regarding the use of force against students. The exchange occurred amid ongoing disruptions in the monsoon session of Parliament, where Opposition MPs have repeatedly sought answers from the government on issues including the NEET paper leak and police conduct.
