BSP MLA Umashankar Singh dies at 55

Umashankar Singh, the sole Bahujan Samaj Party MLA in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, passed away on Wednesday night at the age of 55. He died at a private hospital in Delhi while undergoing treatment for a brain tumour. Singh represented the Rasra constituency in the Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh.

Bahujan Samaj Party MLA Umashankar Singh died on Wednesday at 8:30 PM in a private hospital in Delhi. He had been receiving medical treatment for a brain tumour. Singh served as the representative for the Rasra constituency and was the only member of the Bahujan Samaj Party in the 403-seat Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly.

Following the announcement of his death, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his condolences.
