Harbhajan Singh explains reasons for leaving Aam Aadmi Party for BJP

Harbhajan Singh recently addressed his departure from the Aam Aadmi Party during media interviews and podcast appearances. He stated that he had initially joined the party at the invitation of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann with the specific intent of representing sports-related interests in the Rajya Sabha. Singh noted that he had clarified at the time of his entry that he would focus on sports rather than general politics.

According to Singh, he chose to switch to the Bharatiya Janata Party because his recommendations within the AAP were consistently disregarded and his primary objectives remained unfulfilled. He expressed frustration that no action was taken on his suggestions, which he claimed would have prevented his exit. Singh also responded to critics who labeled him a traitor for changing parties, questioning the basis of such accusations.
