MLA R B Thimmapur denies involvement in viral audio clip

Mudhol MLA R B Thimmapur addressed media reports on Wednesday regarding an audio clip circulating on social media. The recording allegedly features a conversation between Thimmapur and Bagalkot district Congress president Nanjayyanamath, in which the allocation of ministerial positions is linked to financial transactions. Thimmapur denied speaking in the clip and stated that he has not made any remarks that disrespect the party, the chief minister, or the Congress high command.

Thimmapur acknowledged his disappointment regarding his exclusion from the state cabinet, suggesting that he may have been misreported to the party leadership. He stated that he would have preferred clearer communication from the party regarding his ministerial prospects. He emphasized his status as a disciplined party member and distanced himself from the claims made by others in the audio recording.
