Mohan Bhagwat comments on India's diplomatic relations with China and Pakistan

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat addressed the nature of India's diplomatic relations with neighboring countries during an event in Mumbai on Thursday. He argued that India should not sever its historical ties with China and Pakistan, noting that permanent hatred is not a solution to geopolitical challenges. Bhagwat specifically highlighted that relations with China span centuries and that Pakistan was historically part of Bharat.

During his remarks, Bhagwat clarified that his stance on maintaining ties does not preclude national unity during crises. He asserted that in instances of military conflict or terrorism, citizens have a responsibility to stand with the Government of India and the armed forces. He suggested that existing relationships can be placed on hold during active hostilities but should not be permanently ended.
