NDA and I.N.D.I.A. bloc MPs stage counter-protests outside Parliament

Members of the ruling NDA and the opposition I.N.D.I.A. bloc staged separate protests at the Makar Dwar gate of the Parliament House on Tuesday. The opposition MPs demanded that Union Home Minister Amit Shah address the house regarding police actions against students in Delhi and Jharkhand. Simultaneously, NDA MPs held a counter-protest, accusing opposition leaders, specifically Rahul Gandhi, of avoiding parliamentary debates on student issues. Security personnel intervened to separate the two groups as they exchanged slogans and accusations.

The confrontation reflects ongoing parliamentary friction between the government and the opposition. While the opposition has sought to hold the government accountable for alleged police excesses and issues related to Ram Temple donations, the NDA has countered by accusing the opposition of causing disruptions in both houses of Parliament. The protests highlight the deepening divide between the two coalitions over student welfare and administrative accountability.
